Branson's Weather
Branson's weather is typical of the Midwest. Winters tend to be mild with snow accumulations usually between one and two inches. Springtime offers milder temperatures which make it an ideal time for shopping, hiking and fishing. Enjoy many of Branson's outdoor activities during the summer when the sun seems to only stop shining at night. Mild weather and fall foliage is a great reason to make a visit to Branson in autumn.

Winter - With daytime averages of 45 degrees Fahrenheit and lows in the 20s and 30s, the holiday season has become an increasingly popular time to visit Branson. Winter weather, though brisk, is rarely severe. Snowfall is just the right amount to create beautiful winter scenery for a day or two. Pack hats, gloves, scarves and heavy coats to stay warm and plan on checking your coat at the theaters and attractions so you won't have to lug your gear around while indoors. (A helpful tip: Keep a couple of large safety pins in your coat pockets to secure your hat and gloves to your coat when checking it.)

Spring - With rainfall averaging four inches per month, spring can be quite wet. Although the temperature in March averages a cool 46?F, April and May offers comfortable daytime temperatures in the low 70s. An umbrella and raincoat are recommended during Spring. Pack clothes that you can layer, so you can keep up with the unpredictable changes in temperature.

Summer - The hottest and the most popular time to visit Branson is during the summer. The climate is generally humid. Average daily temperatures range from 78 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. A typical July day may be around 66?F just before sunrise and may reach 85 to 90 degrees by mid-afternoon. Light, loose-fitting clothes are best choices for hot days. And if you chill easily, pack long pants and a light jacket for evenings (and maybe to bring along to that air-conditioned theater!)

Fall - The weather is usually the most settled during the autumn months of September and October. Highs average a cozy 77 degrees Fahrenheit. With evenings in the 50s you will find a sweater or jacket can be useful.
