Joshua Tree is located on Highway 62 (29 Palms Hwy.) between Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley, approximately 30 miles north of the I-10 and Palm Springs, California, and approximately 2 and 1/2 hours from the Los Angeles and San Diego area.
